Bring your family to discover the Birds of Edson Fichter Nature Area!
Are you and your children curious to learn about the nearly 100 types of birds that call
Edson Fichter Nature Area home? Come and explore with us this summer!
Families are invited to be part of the EFNA Birding Walks on the third Saturday of each
month this summer— June 20, July 18, and August 15—from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Each
walk will be guided by knowledgeable birders who can help you spot and identify many
of the species that inhabit the area.
We’ll meet in the amphitheater at the nature area and start the walk promptly at 8:30 AM,
so please be on time. Binoculars are recommended, and children must be accompanied by
an adult. And, please, no dogs!
