With heartfelt gratitude to Iron Horse Asphalt Company, and to owners Tyson and Alisha Hatch, for their extraordinary gift to the Edson Fichter Nature Area!
A beautiful new asphalt pathway now connects the EFNA amphitheater to the Ardith Garden—thoughtfully widened to six feet for accessibility and ease. Tyson led an incredibly hardworking, high-energy team whose efforts were truly inspiring. Watching them move swiftly, wheelbarrowing asphalt from truck to pathway, was a blur of dedication and teamwork.
The final touch—a rich, earth-toned aggregate generously provided by Dale Reavis—creates a natural, welcoming look that blends beautifully with the surroundings.
This pathway is more than just a trail—it’s an invitation for all to enjoy, including walkers, wheelchair users, and families throughout our community.
The Friends of EFNA are deeply grateful for this generous contribution that will benefit so many for years to come. Thank you for making a lasting difference!
