The Friends of Edson Fichter Nature Area are so grateful of our supportive community joining us for the first September Nature Talk Program with a record crowd. 

The evening was enriched by the voices of Shoshone-Bannock tribal members Nolan Brown, historical research manager, and Bailey Dann, education specialist. Their program shared tribal and cultural history, while also highlighting the value of native plants.

Both speakers captured everyone’s attention with their knowledge and articulation, reminding us of the deep connection between people, culture, and the natural world—and of the care we must give to nature.
