The second Wednesday night Nature Talk series at the EFNA featured Maria Pacioretty, our Regional wildlife habitat manager and EFNA manager. She began the evening telling about the special area’s history and value it holds.

Eric Pankau, stewardship manager at SSLT, emphasized the value of the 266 acre Century Heights preserve east of Century High School.

Eric and Maria spotlighted the value of open spaces, clean waterways, wildlife corridors, and enhancing and safeguarding the land that is under federal, state and private ownership.

The Friends of Edson Nature Area are grateful to have community leaders directing and networking people in safeguarding and preserving our natural resources.
